Al Sahwa has a warm and welcoming school environment. The majority of our students join us in KG1 and remain at the school until they graduate. Families new to the school quickly become a part of this close knit community and are supported through their orientation and transition periods.
Orientation & Support
There are planned orientations for parents and students prior to joining the school and in the first 2 weeks of the academic year. Students are buddied up with a peer to help them settle in and become familiar with the school, routines and new environment.
The Primary or Secondary School Leadership team will support the entire process from onboarding new families and students to supporting their transition.
The PYP, MYP, DP and GED Coordinator supports the new students and parents in terms of understanding the programme.
