International Baccalaureate (IB) Accreditation
The power of any qualification is founded on the quality assurance behind it. Al Sahwa Schools is proud to be an IB World School, accredited to offer a continuum of skill and content development across the Primary Years Program (PYP), the Middle Years Program (MYP) and the Diploma Program (DP).
Once accreditation status is attained, schools enter a continuous cycle of growth, review and reflection which culminates every five years with an audit of progress and formulation of actions to improve further. At Al Sahwa our PYP program was successfully re-authorised in 2023, with the MYP and DP program now in the middle of their review and growth cycles.
Successful IB authorisation confirms the ongoing commitment of Al Sahwa Schools to a high quality education for students, parents, universities and employers.
Council of International Schools (CIS) Accreditation
In order to provide an internationally recognised benchmark of the quality of the school and the education, schools can apply to become accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS). Accreditation provides all stakeholders with an assurance that Al Sahwa offers a high quality education.

Through an ongoing and rigorous evaluation process, against internationally-agreed standards, Al Sahwa exhibits its commitment to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and abilities to pursue their lives as global citizens.
